- select the image(s) upon which to base your painting,
- choose the color palette for the painting,
- design the composition, AND
- decide on the painting technique to use & the thematic style of the GymArt Piece.
Parents who will allow me to do this and will allow me to use the final Digital Painting as a display sample qualify for a really special offer. The base price of the economy painting is 1/10 of the investment in the Commissioned GymArt Digital Painting.
Just like the Commissioned Painting, we'll have a preview ready for your approval within 3 weeks. After you approve it, we'll send it to the lab for production. They will print your GymArt Piece on an 11x14 archival-grade artist's canvas using their giclee printers. Upon completion, it will be shipped from the lab directly to your address. Larger sizes (up to 30x40) are available as extra cost options. The canvas will be shipped to you as a loose canvas or you can choose for the it to be mounted onto a stretcher frame, or finished as a gallery wrap. The base price for a single-image, 11x14 unmounted economy Digital Painting is $359.
Commissioned GymArt Digital Painting: To those for whom money is not an issue, we offer the ultimate in luxury portrait expression. You can now commission your own personalized GymArt Piece. Then decide on the digital painting technique you would like for us to use: Oil-on-Canvas, Mpasto, Watercolor, Pencil Sketch, or Colored Pencil Sketch. You also get to choose the style: The Force, Flow, Patriotic, Out-of-the-Box, Cosmos, In-the-Clouds, or Fanfare. You pick the color palette to use. Individual Package of MY GYMNAST'S Images - Downloadable ZIP folder
We try to capture 30-50 images of every gymnast at the meet as they compete on the covered rotation(s). Visit us at our booth to learn the rotation we are covering at the meet. Each image in the package is 2000x3000 pixels, large enough to print 8x10s from the full image at high quality. Pursuant to U.S. copyright law, each image will have a small copy of our logo in the corner of the image.
Within a week after the meet, you will receive an email with a link to download the ZIP folder. This delivery option is provided at no extra cost to you. There are other extra-cost and slower methods of delivery (mailing or express shipping a flash drive).
WHOLE TEAM Package --or-- MULTI-GYMNAST Package of Images
The WHOLE TEAM package saves lots of money. One parent orders/pays, and everyone reimburses that parent. The WHOLE TEAM package is only available until midnight Sunday after the meet ends. This package is as low as $40 per gymnast for a team of 15 gymnasts or more (there are also smaller discounts for teams of 1-14 gymnasts). We will put each gymnast's images into their own ZIP folder. We will email the parent who placed the order the links to download each ZIP folder. The ordering parent will forward the appropriate link to each parent. Each image in a Whole Team Package is 2000x3000 pixels, large enough to print 8x10 from the full image at high quality.
With 3 exceptions, all the images of each gymnast will be added to an individual ZIP folder. I will remove images which are badly out of focus, images which are too dark to use, and images which are badly composed. If a finger or foot is not in the image frame, you will get the image. If, however, the gymnast's foot is the only part of him or her in the frame, the image will be removed.
Within a week or so, you will receive an email with a link to download the ZIP folder. This is the only delivery option for the WHOLE TEAM package. Each image in the package is 2000x3000 pixels, large enough to print 8x10s from the full image at high quality. Pursuant to U.S. copyright law, each image will have a small copy of our logo in the corner of the image.
There is also a MULTI-GYMNAST Package for 3 or more gymnasts if not everyone on the team wants to participate in the Whole Team package. The discounts are not quite as big since we have to select the gymnasts individually, but you still save BIG over buying individually. This package works just like the Whole Team package described above.
Championship Commemorative Poster
Honor your gymnast's accomplishment this year with a Championship Commemorative Poster! There are several designs: one for Floor Exercise images, one for Beam images, and several that are generic. After the meet, you will receive an email with instructions for selecting your favorite primary image and the secondary image. We painstakingly extract your gymnast from the original images. The images are dropped into a multi layered template created especially for this meet. Some of the background elements will be adjusted to coordinate with the colors in your gymnast's leotard. The meet logo OR your gym name is included in the design to remind everyone of the meet in which your gymnast competed. You can specify a title (up to 35 characters/spaces) to include on the poster.
After you approve the final design, we'll send it to our lab for printing onto a luster-finish archival paper that you can enjoy for years. The Championship Commemorative Poster is printed in a 10"x15" format (optional sizes are 12"x18", 18"x27", 20"x30", and 24"x36").
RAGE and Spotlight Posters
Let these multi-image posters tell the story of your competition. For up to five of your favorite images, we painstakingly extract your gymnast from the original image. The images are dropped into a multi layered template and we arrange the 5 extracted images into a dynamic, eye-catching poster. We enhance the final design by using special blending modes until the layers work together perfectly to make an astonishing poster. After you approve the final design, we'll send it to our lab for printing onto a high-gloss, archival paper that you can enjoy for years.
The RAGE Poster is printed in a panoramic 30"x10" format. The Spotlight Poster is printed in a more traditional vertical 12"x18" format.
SOLO Poster
A salute to those who put in the hours to excel in competition, the SOLO poster is designed around a single image. As with most of our posters, the gymnast is extracted from the original image, and inserted into the chosen template. We add the gymnast's name, gym name, and the year. This poster is printed onto archival luster portrait paper as a 20"x16" poster that you can enjoy for years to come. Choose from Tsunami, Signature, Carbon, or Intensity styles.
Beauty & the Beam Poster
The Beam. That nefarious 16 foot long by 4 inch wide, leather covered nemesis. Until mastered, it creates fear, nervousness, and worry as a gymnast prepares to mount it and perform. It is a Beast. The name of this poster pays homage to the legacy of this event.
When your Beauty tames the Beam, select one of her live-action images for this iconic poster. We'll extract her from the original image, incorporate her into the template, add the meet name (or the meet logo for championship meets), her name, and the year. The finished design will memorialize her achievement for her lifetime (with proper care).
You will approve the final design before we send it to the lab for production. When completed, the lab will send this poster directly to the address you provided in your SPUSA account.
The Beauty & the Beam Poster is printed in a panoramic 20"x10" format on super-high-gloss archival photo paper.
NextLevel Mini-Poster
Do you want the pizzazz of our multi-image posters (the RAGE and Spotlight Posters), but want to save some money? The NextLevel Mini-Poster is an extraction poster (the gymnast is extracted from the original image) with up to three images in an 8x10 print size. After you approve the final design, I'll transmit the file to the lab. The lab will print the image on a luster-finish, archival photo paper. The print will be drop-shipped directly to your address from the lab.
